French Cotton Reel Table
An antique French cotton reel table. This scratch-built table is a quirky little table in a lovely light tone full of genuine character. It would have been built during the war when materials were short in supply so the use of cotton reels made a useful addition. It’s not the most sturdy with a little sway due to the metal Rods embedded through the cotton reels and has seen some historic woodworm which we have re-treated for peace of mind. Besides its faults, it’s a one off piece and full of rustic country charm.
