We have four antique French bread proofing baskets, known as Bannetons. Typically woven wicker with a fabric cover. Historically used for the second rise of the bread dough before baking took place. They’re great as decoration around the kitchen or dining room with wonderful rustic tones and texture. We love them hanging on a wall for something more sculptural in a country kitchen.
